Driver Safety Coordinator

Driver Safety Coordinator is responsible to work with employees to ensure they compliant with all local and federal state laws and regulations along with company policies.
Coordinates the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents.
Responsible for driver training and skill assessment to include on-boarding training and orientation, remedial training, and maintaining compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
The position assists in ensuring we maintain our reputable safety scores.
The position will also be responsible for maintaining compliant files and records and efficient use of Hours of Service.
Essential Functions: · Work with established tools and collected data to engage each member to improve driving safety.
· Data collection and evaluation · Establish multilayered feedback systems to include employee self-improvement, coaching processes, and educational materials delivery and formatting.
· Engage and support operations supervision in execution of their role in the driver metrics program.
· Participate in other driver programs as requested to provide input towards these programs.
· Perform periodic quality assurance checks of the program to establish the adherence to the program for all contributing departments.
Competencies: · Bachelor’s degree required.
· 6+ years’ experience in the Driver Compliance Work Environment: Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally visit work sites.
