With 2 king size beds and a sleeper sofa we can accommodate up to 6 people in this cottage.
This beach-side duplex was built on the sand dunes of Willoughby Spit in the 1920's.
The entire property has been restored and modernized and we have preserved a many of the features that makes the property special.
It is a 1,200 square foot, 2-bedroom cottage with wrap-around porch.
There is a dedicated driveway parking spot and a large deck off of the kitchen.
The plaster walls, oak floors, doors (and hardware) and oak floors have been preserved.
Even though there is a modern and efficient central heating/cooling system we have kept the radiators for ambience.
The full size dining room features wainscotting.
There are ceiling fans in every room and there is abundant natural lighting from all of the windows
Available from October 15 through March 30 this cottage is one of five high-end, custom beach vacation rentals are available for rent during the off-season.
The properties are on the beach in Willoughby and they ARE NOT part of an apartment complex.
Rent includes all utilities (water sewer, electric/hear/air, cable television and wifi), linens, and housewares.
They are professionally decorated and fully furnished (all rental have sleeper sofas in addition to king size beds in bedrooms).
The fully equipped kitchen feature full-size oven, full-size refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster and every item need for a comfortable stay.
The rentals also include washer/dyer in every rental, ceiling fans, individually controlled central heating/cooling systems, 2 to 3 60-inch TV's, and there is plenty of parking.
Shared common spaces includes extensive outdoor seating and landscape areas, Bocce Ball Court, Horse Shoe Pit, Corn Hole, large seating deck around a fountain, beachfront recreational kitchen with running water, hot tub, and beachfront pergola
Our neighborhood is centrally located and served with 2 interstate interchanges for I-64.
We are 10-minutes from the Little Creek, Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk International Airport, Old Dominion University, Downtown Hampton, and Hampton University.
We are less than 15 minutes away from Downtown Norfolk, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk State University and Eastern Virginia Medical School
