You will provide technical and administrative support for the Commander, Naval Air Forces, US Atlantic Fleet (CNAL) N6 staff by submitting Move Add Change (MAC) requests, initiates/validates Enterprise Knowledge management (eKM) service order requests, works with squadron ITPOC personnel to identify, resolve, and elevate any NMCI or procurement issues at the wing level of CNAL.
You will also review Order Justification Form (OJF) submissions from subordinate commands and submit those requests to (eKM) and provide NMCI users with technical assistance, annual technical refresh events, and perform basic network user administration duties.
Responsibilities and Duties also include:
Verify that service requests have been approved and have been submitted to NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) and that the order has been advanced to eKM.
Review and approve MAC requests and NMCI services are submitted using HP Service Manager.
Address and escalate NMCI issues or unresolved issues to CNAL N6 and provide ITPOC personnel training on resolving technical, administrative or procurement issues.
Review and validate Requests for Change (RFC) from CNAL subordinate commands for ONE-Net Services and support.
Provide input to CNAL N61 and TYPEWING N6 in execution of daily operations, long range planning and project management supporting CNAL commands.
Provide monthly updates to all Deployable Switch Transmit Boundary (DSTB) and Fly Away Kits (FAK) IAW USFF’s DSTB/FAK request for use, life cycle refresh, inventory requirements and CONOPS changes as directed.
Coordinate with all CNAL subordinate Commands the compliance reporting of USFF’s Information Technology (IT) asset accountability of all unclassified non-Program of Record (POR) referencing utilizing SharePoint Regional Inventory Tracking Essentials (SPRITE) instructions.

Conduct spot-checks and inventory requirements on squadron IT assets to include Multi-functioning devices and deployed assets
Provide and deliver recurring, virtual training as well as informal, on-spot training to end users regarding NMCI Enterprise Tools (NET), MAC process to include but not limited to User Account Creation/Update/Deactivation, Asset Relocation, Printer Installation, and Build-Out submission and NMCI Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN) Ordering Process.
Manage new user account creations, user permissions, with Active Directory, Security Groups, File Share Folders, and Shared Distribution lists, along with monitoring and maintaining Shared user space.
Coordinate with non-CNAL entities for Special Mission projects, ONE-Net and NMCI infrastructure design, and Protective Distribution System upgrades.
Provide Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for users to follow on mapping a printer, setting up PST files, network storage mapping and various IT functions.
Coordinate pre-deployment and post-deployment TYCOM level coordination of Deployable Support to CNAL commands entering and leaving the Ashore Enterprise Network environment.
Required Skills
5+ years supporting the Ashore Enterprise Network, Embarkables, Type Wing systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Basic knowledge of computer systems and related cybersecurity software and hardware components.
Ability to interact professionally and confidently in supporting senior Government officials.
Must be able to walk the long distances of the CNAL spaces within and between buildings.
A High School Diploma (Associate’s Degree is preferred).
Must have CompTIA A+ or Network+ or any other 8570 IAT-I approved certification.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate test MD-100 (within 6 months)
The CNAL Ashore Enterprise Network, Embarkables, Type Wing Support shall have a High School Diploma or an Associate’s Degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree from an accredited college/university or two (2) or more years of experience working for the Department of Navy (DoN) supporting Information Technology (IT) systems such as but not limited to Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI), Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise Systems (CANES).
