The project scope across a 9-mile section of the I-64 will include: a new 3.

Responsibilities: Perform bank reconciliations for various entities and petty cash reconciliation Prepare state Sales and Use Taxes returns, vendor status reports, purchase journals, vendor invoice vouchers, credit card vouchers, 1099 forms for applicable vendors, subcontract status reports Prepare weekly and monthly cash requirements report Prepare and adjust journal entries Issue vendor payments Respond to inquiries regarding vendor invoices and materials and equipment job cost charges Calculate and record accounts payable accruals Reconcile accounts payable per the accounts payable system to the general ledger Review invoices for accuracy Data entry of vendor invoices Calculate and record current retention subcontracts payable accruals Assist with the monthly closure procedures Qualifications: Required: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5 years experience Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and familiarity with ERP systems Ability to multi-task and work in high pressure environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to follow through on commitments and projects Strong planning, organizational and administrative skills Preferred: One or more years experience in the Construction industry preferred Work Environment: Office setting on an active construction site Sit for extended periods of time Work with computer and phone equipment for extended periods of time Expected work hours - Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Benefits: Comprehensive compensation package Health Insurance/Dental Insurance/Vision Insurance Employer Paid Life Insurance and AD&D Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program Paid Holidays Paid Time Off This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
